why work with me?

In a world an abundandce of information, it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. I understand that feeling. Even as a pelvic floor therapist, I've faced my own concerns and uncertainties about pelvic floor dysfunction when I was diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse after the birth of my first child. This personal experience drove me to thoroughly research and treat my symptoms, which has enabled me to help many women do the same. Through a collaborative approach, I focus on simplifying complex pelvic floor health information and providing clear, practical and evidence-based guidance for women at every stage of life.

my philosophy is simple:

I believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered and in control of her body. I am committed to educating and guiding you to understand the intricacies of the pelvic floor and how it relates to your overall health and well-being.

My ultimate goal is to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to manage your health, regain your confidence, and go back to doing the things you love.

What everyone is saying...

  • After lacklustre experiences elsewhere, I found Sandra about 1.5 years post partum with grade 2 prolapse. I felt hopeless and scared that I would need surgery. Sandra was genuinely compassionate toward me, and more importantly extremely thorough. She diagnosed me with something my prior therapists overlooked. Within 6 months of following her protocol my problem completely corrected. I can’t say enough about her dedication and passion for women’s health.

  • Sandra is absolutely incredible. I saw Sandra in my third trimester for pelvic floor support. She was very inquisitive, patient, thorough and responsive. Her labor prep education was incredibly helpful, and I employed all of her suggestions during my labor, which resulted in a minimal level 2 tear, no prolapse, and no ab separation postpartum! This was my third delivery and honestly, her help made all the difference in my postpartum recovery. I would recommend her 100 times over to anyone looking to strengthen and support their pelvic floor.

  • Sandra is an excellent physiotherapist. She was an incredible resource to me during my pregnancy and after my delivery. In addition to exercises to prepare for delivery, she provided thoughtful and evidence based education around the process itself. I credit her support in contributing to my incredibly smooth and safe delivery .
